So, how do you make sure your shoot happens at just the right time? Here’s your go-to guide!



☀️ Golden Hour = Real Estate Gold


Golden hour—shortly after sunrise or just before sunset—is a photographer’s dream. The sunlight is soft, warm, and even, casting a beautiful glow over the home and minimizing harsh shadows. If your listing has large windows or a beautiful backyard, this is the time to make those features shine.

  • Exterior shots

  • Homes with lots of natural textures

  • Properties with east- or west-facing facades


🏡 Midday: Bright But Tricky


Midday offers the most light, which can be helpful—but it’s also the harshest. Direct overhead sunlight can cause strong shadows, blown-out highlights, and uneven lighting indoors.
